Basel: The draws of the fixture for the round of 16 of UEFA Champions League have been announced on Monday(December 14).UEFA unveiled the fixtures on the social media.

Defending champions Bayern Munich will face Lazio as Hansi Flick’s side hope to make it to the last four again. The star stacked Bavarian side topped the group with five wins and a draw while Lazio will look to make a statement as they have some quality in their ranks.
While Last year’s runners up Paris Saint-Germain go head to head with FC Barcelona in a mouthwatering clash. The Catalans club were handed a 8-2 defeat by Bayern Munich in last year semi-final while Paris lost to them in the grand final. Meanwhile the two teams will meet after the 2016/17 season in which Barcelona went through beating them 6-1 in the second leg despite their lead in the first Leg. Chelsea, a former winner of this tournament will face Atletico Madrid. This fixture can been as the free flowing attacking guns of Blues against the rigid defensive wall of Roja Blancos. Diego Simione has ability to challenge any side with his tactics while Frank Lampard will hope to make a statement with a young and energetic side.

Zinedine Zidane’s men will have to be watchful as the Italian side have been in red hot form for the past couple of season.
