Jamshedpur FC lock horns with unbeaten NorthEast United FC

Goa: Jamshedpur FC hope to return in winning ways when they meet an unbeaten NorthEast United in the Indian Super League (ISL) at the Tilak Maidan in Goa on Friday (December 18).

Jamshedpur are unbeaten in their last five matches earning a creditable 1-1 draw against a star-stacked Mumbai City FC in the last game. Meanwhile, midfielder Aitor Monroy will be unavailable after his suspension in the last match however right-back Laldinliana Renthlei will return to the side with hopes to ask questions to a strong defence of the highlanders.

NorthEast on the other hand, under their coach Gerard Nus, have transformed into a side full of fighting spirit largely thanks to their superb defensive display till now in the league courtesy the duo Dylan Fox and Benjamin Lambot resulting in being unbeaten in all of their matches in the league. They drew 0-0 with a strong Chennayin FC in their last match but with the likes of Luis Machado and Kwesi Appiah in their attacking ranks, NorthEast will hope to challenge the Jamshedpur defence.
