Los Angeles: After the victory against the Portland Trail Blazers, LeBron James spoke on several topics ranging from ‘Black Panther’ star Chadwick Boseman to former US president Barack Obama in a post-game interview.
“President Obama is a great man and I wish he was still the President of the United States,” the LA Lakers legend said.

It was the former President Barack Obama who supported the players to continue playing and raise awareness about social justice issues to matter to them. Earlier this week, James had a talk with the former President and shared his view on how the NBA players could best support the ‘Black Lives Movement’.

James grieved the loss of the untimely demise of two great African Americans — Kobe Bryant and Chadwick Boseman this year. He also spoke about them in that interview. And he will hope to bear their tradition of greatness as he sets his bird’s eye on the fourth NBA title.
