Kolkata: “Instead of celebrating my birthday, it would be my privilege if September 5 is observed as Teachers’ Day,” said India’s second President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan in 1962. Since then this day is celebrated as the Teachers’ Day to pay a tribute to all those who have played an important role as a teacher in our life.
