Brimingham : Smriti Mandhana’s unbeaten knock of 63 runs off 42 balls let India Women defeat Pakistan Women by 8 wickets in the second game of the Commonwealth Games 2022 (Birmingham).
Earlier, Indian spinners Radha Yadav and Sneh Rana thump Pakistan innings and restrict them within a total of 99. In return, Smriti Mandhana’s quickfire helps India to win it comfortably by 8 wickets and secure a top place in the Group A pool.

India Women will face Barbados Women in their last round robin game on Wednesday. A win will secure a place to the semi final.
