New Delhi: On September 2(Wednesday) online streaming platform Zee5 announced their  upcoming comedy film Tiki Taka, directed by actor-director Parambrata Chattopadhyay.
Tiki Taka has been adapted from the Bengali original film ‘Khelechi Ajguba’. The film’s name sounds weird because it is the name of one of the main characters in the film, Khelechi is a footballer who has come to Bengal with a football laden with narcotics, in a bid to save his dying mother back home.

The film, draws its name from a style of play in football, But one error leads to another situation when PK’s men accidentally pick up the wrong guy from the airport. That’s when the adventure of Khelechi and Raju begins.

The film stars Parambrata Chattopadhyay
Ritabhari Chakaborty and Saswata Chatterjee.

Chattopadhyay who has directed blockbuster bengali movies like Hawa Bodol, Shonar Pahar, said “his film a situational light-hearted comedy filled with errors and humour that make it a perfect weekend watch with family or friends. In the times that we are currently living in, I feel that now, more than ever, the world could use a laugh. I hope people shower the film with the love and kindness it deserves.”
