Sydney: MS Dhoni announced his retirement earlier in August but his impact is still felt on the cricket field. This was once again visible on Sunday at the Sydney Cricket Ground when fans show a placard reading ‘We Miss You Dhoni’ during India-Australia’s second T20I and skipper Kohli noticed the banner and expressed that he shares the same feelings.
The mutual respect MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli have for each other are well known to everyone. In an interview, Kohli also said that he blindly follows what Dhoni used to say and he always sought advice from the former skipper.
Kohli’s remarkable gesture to the heartfelt placard for Dhoni left netizens awestruck, the video is doing rounds on social media. When Kohli notice the banner he turned towards the fans and signalled “Me too”.
