3 minutes into the match, Phil Foden scored the first goal for the team. In the 58th minute, Haaland leaped into the air to head home Savinho’s backheel cross to extend the lead for the team. Haaland’s extraordinary goal created excitement among the City fans.
John Stones’ header in the 64th minute and Haaland’s second in the 62nd minute extended City’s lead. At the end of the match in the 88th minute, Nunes made the score 5-0 with a penalty. With this win, City moved up to third place in the Champions League with 7 points from 3 matches, while Sparta Praha has 4 points.
