Kolkata: The senior Indian women’s football team would be seen in action once again as they take part in a Tri-nation friendly organized by Jordan Football Association. Egypt will be the third team in the tournament.
This will be the first time the Blue Tigresses will be seen in action after their disheartening withdrawn from AFC Women’s Asian Cup owning to unavailability of players due to COVID-19 outbreak. The tournament will be played from April 5 to April 11 at Prince Mohammad Stadium in Zarqa.
With the SAFF U-18 Women’s Championship ending on March 25 the senior team along with coach Thomas Dennerby will be assembling in Goa on April 3 for preparatory advancements
