India announce squad for ODI Series against Ireland

Kolkata : BCCI has announced 15-members squad for 3 match ODI series against Ireland at Rajkot, starting from January 10-15, 2025.

Veteran Smriti Mandhana will lead, as regular captain Harmanpreet Kaur along with star pacer Renuka Thakur have been rested. Saima Thakor, Titas Sadhu will be front line pacers.

India will enter with full confidence having whitewashed West Indies 3-0 in recently concluded ODI Series. In the same series, Harmanpreet suffered knee injury.

Shafali Varma and Arundhati Reddy are yet to find a spot in the squad.

India handed a maiden ODI call-up to Raghvi Bist. They also recalled Mumbai all-rounder Sayali Satghare. Sayali, who plays for the Gujarat Giants in the WPL, was also a part of the ODIs against New Zealand back in October, but did not get a chance to play.

Uttarakhand hitter Raghvi Bist also earned maiden call.
