Sydney: Indian fast bowler T Natarajan stepped up with impressive performances during his maiden international tour for India in the limited-overs series against Australia. From making heads turn in the Indian Premier League for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) the 29-year-old was phenomenal against the hosts in ODIs and T20Is.

Recently Aussie batsman David Warner, who was Natarajan’s captain in SRH during the IPL 2020, could not stop himself from praising the young bowler for his impressive show in the series.

Sharing a picture with Natarajan, Warner wrote “Win lose or draw we respect each other on and off the field. Despite losing the series I couldn’t not be any happier for this guy @natarajan_jayaprakash such a nice guy and just loves the game so much. From being on the tour as a net bowler to debuting ODI/T20I for India what an achievement buddy well done!!.”

My maiden outing with #TeamIndia and we won the T20I series. A dream come true moment made special by the champion bunch. I thank my teammates for their constant support and encouragement. Thank you everyone for your love & support,”  Natarajan captioned his post.

Natarajan was initially included in the Indian squad as a net bowler but found the chance to debut in both ODIs and T20Is as a replacement to Varun Chakravarthy.  On the other hand, Warner has been out of the Australia squad due to a muscle injury. He will miss the first Test in the upcoming Border Gavaskar Trophy, he will be joining the team Australia after that.
