The tournament is set to start from 21st September, and some younger faces from U-23 are likely to replace many big names in the Indian squad , as per discussed by AIFF Committee, since the ISL Clubs are unwilling to release their respective players for the national duties. Since the Asian Games fall outside FIFAâs international match window, players are obliged to play for their ISL clubs.
India would likely to Pitch a junior U23 teams as a result of this, due to club obligations of the senior players.
