Kolkata : 2 times ICC CT 2025 champion Australia are facing England in a mini Ashes today at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. However, a bizarre incident during National Anthem shocked everyone.
It’s still 1 day left for the mega India vs Pakistan clash at the Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai, but Indian national anthem ‘Jana Gana Mana’ has already started to play in a different match. More interestingly, in Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, Pakistan, where India is not even travelling for the Champions Trophy 2025.

The incident happened after England’s anthem ended, it was time for Australia’s anthem, instead a line from India’s national anthem ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’ started playing. The incident was soon picked by internet netizens who trolled Pakistan Cricket Board’s blunder.
The Australian players and the crowd at the Gaddafi Stadium were taken by surprise before the organisers realised the blunder and stopped the Indian national anthem. Order was restored when Advance Australia Fair was eventually played at the iconic venue in Lahore.
India will face Pakistan on February 23, 2025 at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai.
