Youngsters Avilin Ghosh and Shuvam Dey made their debuts in the Bengal side today.
After washed out Day 1, Bengal , bowling 1st , took upper hand from 9th over as Ishan Porel broke Kerala’s 33 runs partnership giving them a double blow, dismissing dangerous Kunnummal (23) & veteran Baba Aparajit (0) for a golden duck.
Very soon left arm spinner Pradipta Pramanik dismissed Sarwate (5) & Porel bagged his 3-fer finding the edge of Vathsal Govind (5).
Due to delayed start owing to wet outfield only 15.1 overs were possible. Kerala are now struggling at 51-4 with 2 days to go in the match.
