Northeast United FC sign Jamaican forward Deshorn Brown from Bengaluru FC

Goa: ISL side Northeast United FC have signed, striker Deshorn Brown has joined the club
from Bengaluru FC. Brown joins Northeast United after scoring seven goals in 20 appearances for BFC since joining the club in January 2020.

Previously, Brown has played in various countries like the USA, Norway, China and Spain, having played for Colorado Rapids, DC United and Shenzen FC to name a few. He has also featured for the Jamaican national team with two goals in 14 outings for the Reggae Boyz.

Speaking on the signing, Northeast United’s Executive Director Priya Runchal said; “Deshorn brings with him the experience of playing in the top leagues across the world as well as a knowledge of Indian football.”

“Both of which is incredibly valuable during this stage of the ISL. We are confident that he will hit the ground running and will have an impact on the team as we look to push for a playoff spot.”
