Kolkata : Maharashtra appointed Indian star Batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad as skipper for Ranji Trophy 2024-25 season.

Gaikwad, who captained Maharashtra in List A Cricket, most successful IPL Franchise Chennai Super Kings succeeding MS Dhoni will now captain Maharashtra in the upcoming Ranji Trophy. He also led India to Gold Medal in Commonwealth Games 2022.
