Goa: A frustrating evening for SC East Bengal ended as Mumbai City FC beat them 3-0 in the Indian Super League at the GMC Stadium in Goa on Tuesday (December 1).Adam la Fondre netted brace while Hernán Santana scored once.

Mumbai Lined up in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Moutarda Fall and Hernan Santana at the heart of the defence. Rowllin Borges along with Ahmed Jahouh formed a double pivot in thd midfield with Bipin Singh,Adam le Fondre and Mandar Rao Desai sharing the frontline. Mumbai started in their typical fashion dominating possession on the ball an creating chances causing early problems for East Bengal. It eventually led to the opening goal as a long from the Mumbai half found Hugo Boumous who ran past players on his own to lay it off for Adam le Fondre for a simple finish before the lead was extended when a excellent through pass from Ahmed Jahouh found Boumous who went on his own but was taken down in the box with le Fondre finishing it from the penalty spot.
