Rio de Janeiro: Argentina and Colombia will square off on Tuesday at Estadio Nacional de Brasilia in the ongoing Copa America 2021 semifinals to book a summit clash place on Saturday. The winner will face defending champs Brazil at the historic Maracana Stadium.

La Albiceleste booked their place in the final four after quashing Ecuador 4-0 in the quarterfinals with talisman Lionel Messi delivering a near-perfect performance. Colombia edged past Uruguay narrowly, beating them in penalties.

After losing against Chile in the finals in both 2015 and 2016 editions, and eliminated by Brazil in the 2019 semis, 14-time champion Argentina would look forward to laying their hands on the trophy with their last title coming in 1993.

Earlier, Leandro Paredes stated that Argentina should not depend entirely on Messi Magic and they have maintained that throughout the games so far, supporting Lionel Messi as much he supports them. The Men in Sky Blue have been in great form winning all their matches after a slow start.

Lionel Scaloni is very satisfied with his men and seems to deploy an unchanged XI. Argentina will be led by Messi supported by his new Barcelona teammate Sergio Aguero and Lautaro Martinez. The efficient midfield will have Rodrigo De Paul, Giovani Lo Celso and Leandro Paredes. Nicolas Otamendi, Nahuel Molina, Marcos Acuña and German Pazzela will be helping custodian Emiliano Martinez in keeping a clean sheet.

Colombia on the other hand won their first encounter but faltered as Venezuela held them in a draw and Peru got better of them. Atlanta duo, Luis Muriel and Duvan Zapata will be starting for Colombia while Reinaldo Rueda is seemingly to feature a midfield of Gustao Cuéllar, Juan Cuadrado and Willmar Barrios.

Yerry Mina, Davinson Sanchez, Daniel Muñoz and Stefan Medina will line in front of ‘keeper David Ospina to stop famous the Argentine attack
