Sharjah: Rajasthan Royals will play their second match of the Indian Premier League 2020 against Kings XI Punjab at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah, on Sunday (September 27).
Rajasthan have played just a single game while Kings XI Punjab have played two matches winning one and losing one. KXIP are second in the table whereas Rajasthan are placed at the fourth.
KXIP skipper KL Rahul scored a spectacular century in the last game against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. His unbeaten 132 was the highest individual score by any Indian in IPL history. KXIP maintained balance in their batting order but their bowling line-up still has a lot to improve.
In fact, KXIP bowlers were brilliant in the game against RCB but there are still loopholes in the line-up. And expectedly they might retain the winning XI against Royals too. Meanwhile, Royals will be bolstered by the return of swashbuckling Jos Buttler. The Englishman will be looking forward to his first game of the season after completing his quarantine period.
With the addition of Buttler, Rajasthan Royals look much fierce in terms of their batting line-up. Steve Smith will shift at No.3, while Sanju Samson could bat at No.4. David Miller might get the axe in order to fit Buttler in.
