Mumbai : India, despite a flop Batting show, displayed good bowling performance at Wankhede, Mumbai, in Day 1 of 3rd Test, owing to Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar’s top bowling displays.

India, bowling 1st, got out Devon Conway (4) , Tom Latham (28) & Rachin Ravindra (6) for 72 runs.

However, Will Young (71) & Daryl Mitchell (82) notched up a vital 87 runs partnership to take the score to 159 runs.

Ravindra Jadeja (5/65) & Washington Sundar (4/81) bundled up New Zealand for 235 runs.

Coming to Bat, despite losing Rohit Sharma (18) early for 25 runs, Shubman Gill (31*) & Yashasvi Jaiswal (30) notched up a 53 runs, partnership taking the score to 78 runs.

However, last 10 minutes of the day of Indian Batting saw complete horror as they lost 3 quick wickets of Jaiswal, Mohammad Siraz (0) & Virat Kohli (4) in 2 overs, with India ending the day at 84-4. India now trail by 149 runs.
