English openers- Phil Salt (26) & Ben Duckett (65) Batting first, went off to flying start with 81 runs opening stand.
Veterans Joe Root (69), Jos Buttler (34) & Liam Livingstone (41) added more valuable runs as England neared towards big total.
Ravindra Jadeja (3/35) stopped England from more advances and restricted them to 304.
Chasing 305, Indian openers Rohit Sharma (119) & Shubman Gill (60) started off with 136 runs opening stand.
Skipper Rohit, who has been passing through rough patch answered all criticisms he faced smashing English bowlers all over the park, scoring his 49th International and 32nd ODI ton, his 2nd fastest in this format.
His innings of 119 (90) included 7 sixes and 12 boundaries.
Shreyas Iyer (44) & Axar Patel (41*) added vital runs that almost confirmed India’s win.
The Men in Blue lost few wickets by end of the match. However, it didn’t impact the run chase much as Ravindra Jadeja (11*) hit the winning runs, guided India past the target and bagged the series 2-0.
Rohit was adjourned man of the match for his heroics.
