Kolkata: Indian women cricket team will start it’s campaign against their arch rivals Pakistan on March 6, 2022 at Tauranga’s Bay Oval in New Zealand. Among all the scheduled matches, Tauranga will also host the repeat of 2017 World Cup final when India and England meet each other on March 16, 2022.
Previously, the tournament was supposed to be held in in February-March 2021. But it got rescheduled due to the Covid-19 pandemic with the same six host cities and venues retained, will be held between March 4 and April 3, 2022.
Eight of the world’s best nations will lock horns across Auckland, Tauranga, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin. to claim the trophy.
