London : Sri Lanka defeated England by 8 wickets at Kennington Oval, London to avoid whitewash and end the series 2-1 on losing term. This win is memorable for them since it’s the 1st time since 2014 that they’ve won a Test match at England.
In 1st Innings, England Batting 1st saw Ben Duckett (86) & out of form skipper Ollie Pope (154) playing a giant knock , taking England’s score to 325 runs.
Sri Lanka despite valiant efforts of Pathum Nissanka (64), Dhananjay de Silva (69), Kamindu Mendis (64) only managed to score 263 runs.
