Sharjah: The social media banter between IPL franchises has become a commonplace event ever since the popularity of multiple social media platforms. On Sunday, another such banter took place after the match.  As Virat Kohli took a dig at their opponents in the dressing room after the match, whom his team defeated in  in Sharjah.

RCB shared a video of their “dressing room chat” after the match. While walking outside the dressing room, Kohli is heard saying “Bohot shanti hai aaj (It’s very peaceful today)”. He was seen grinning slightly as he walked away. The person who was shooting the footage, with whom Kohli was heard speaking, also laughed a bit. As soon as the franchise posted the video, the video is doing rounds on social media with thousands of comments. Check out the video here:

For the unreserved, during one of the previous encounter between the two teams this season PBKS had cheekily made a post when they seemed to be winning. The tweet read: “Yahan pe sab shanti shanti hai (everything is very peaceful here)!” along with a picture of the RCB dugout. PBKS eventually  deleted the tweet. Punjab Kings went on to win that match.

Punjab and Bangalore locked horns against each other in a encounter  on Sunday. With a six-run win over Punjab Kings, Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore confirmed a spot for themselves on the playoffs. Kohli’s team now has eight wins in 12 matches.

Their last two matches are against Sunrisers Hyderabad on October 6 and against Delhi Capitals on October 8. They would be eyeing a top-two spot, as it would give them an extra shot at making it to the final.
