Captain Smriti Mandhana powers Royal Challengers Bengaluru to easy win against Delhi Capitals in WPL 2025

Vadodara : Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by 8 wickets at Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara to secure their 2nd consecutive win of WPL 2025, with help of skipper Smriti Mandhana’s 81 (47).

RCB, bowling first got early breakthrough dangerous Shafali Verma. Despite a 59 runs partnership between Jemimah Rodrigues (34) & Meg Lanning (17), RCB continuously took wickets, as DC were bundled on 141 (19.3).

Renuka Singh Thakur & George Wareham took 3-fers, Kim Garth & Ekta Bisht picked 2 wickets each.

Chasing 147 runs, skipper Smriti Mandhana (81) & Wyatt Hodge (42) notched up incredible 107 runs opening stand.

Smriti’s innings included 3 sixes and 10 boundaries guiding her team towards victory.

Richa Ghosh (11*) & Ellyse Perry (7*) did rest of the job and chased down the total in 16.2 overs.
