Milan: Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez has signed a three-year deal with Inter Milan, the Serie A club announced on Wednesday (August 6). “Everyone at Manchester United wishes Alexis Sanchez all the best in his future career as he joins Inter Milan on a permanent transfer,” Manchester United said in a statement.
The former Arsenal player joined United in 2018 and had since then scored just five goals in 45 matches. Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said Sanchez is a top professional and wished him all the best. “He has enjoyed his time there. He is a top player but for whatever reason, we didn’t see the best of him,” Solskjaer to BT Sports.

Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta told Sky Sports, “It will be official tomorrow (Thursday) in the morning, the player is completely ours and we have a three-year contract with him.” Sanchez has been on loan at Inter since August 2019 and will receive a pay-off from United after agreeing to refrain from the final two years of his £560k-per-week contract.
