Manchester: Donny Van De Beek’s deal for Manchester United is getting close. The club has offered $40 million plus add ons for the Dutch Attacking midfielder and his parent club Ajax has accepted the bid without any negotiations. The transfer can happen any time soon.
The 23 year old has been an integral part of the Ajax side and the experts claim that he can add more fire to the United front line. He has played 118 games for the Dutch giants and has bagged 28 goals since his debut in 2015. After being appointed as Barca manager Ronald Koeman even wanted him. But it seems that Manchester United might win the race in signing the Dutch midfielder.

United needs some good backup to their first team. The pressure should be divided among everybody to maintain a balance in the side. Addition of Van De Beek will add more fire to their bench. Even United have been busy in buliding up a strong side this season. They have keen interest on Jadon Sancho for a long time. Still negotiations and backlashes are on with Dortmund. They have been eyeing for Thiago Alcantara too, who had a great last season with Bayern Munich. Even defenders like Dayot Upamecano and Sergio Reguilon has been under the radar for United.
On 31st August 2004 a 19 year old teenager joined the club later he became the Wayne Rooney, so it has been a lucky day for the Red Devils. Van De Beek’s input might help them to bring back their glory days which has been missing for last seven years since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson.
