Kolkata : The ACC Men’s Emerging Asia Cup is set to kick start from October 18-27 at Oman.
All matches will be at the Oman Cricket Academy Ground in Al Amarat. India A will start their campaign against Pakistan A on Friday.
8 Nations are participating in the Tournament and are divided into 2 groups and will play each other in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
India won the inaugural edition in 2013 while Sri Lanka won the two subsequent editions in 2017 and 2018. Pakistan Shaheens have emerged victorious in the two latest editions hosted in 2019 and 2023.
Last year, Pakistan A beat India A by 128 runs in the final at Colombo’s Premadasa Stadium to lift the trophy.
