Kolkata: BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly was released from the hospital at 10.40 am on Sunday (January 31). Ganguly returned home from the hospital by his own car. According to the hospital, he is completely healthy and asked to rest.

On Wednesday (January 27), Dada was admitted to the private hospital with chest pain and on January 28 two stents were placed on his body. Earlier on January 2, he was admitted to the hospital with chest pain for the first time at Woodlands hospital when a stent was placed.

Again, he came to the hospital last Wednesday with chest pain again. Aftab Khan, Saptarshi Basu and Saroj Mandal were in charge of his treatment. “Mr Ganguly is doing fine and his heart is as strong as a normal person. He had an uneventful recovery and we are hopeful that within the next couple of days, he will be able to return to normal life,” a senior doctor of the hospital, where Ganguly was admitted, was quoted as saying by PTI.

“Sourav Ganguly, who underwent angioplasty at Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata on January 28, 2021 has been examined by Dr Aftab Khan today. He is doing well and all his vital parameters are stable,” the medical bulletin had read.
