Harare : India defeated Zimbabwe by 23 runs at Harare Sports Club, Harare and lead the 5 Match series 2-1.
India Defending 183 runs started off well picking 5 early Zimbabwean wickets for 39 runs in 7 overs.
However, Zimbabwe gave tough fight. A 77 runs partnership between Dion Mayers (65*) & Clive Madande (37) made Indian bowlers toil hard.
However, Washington Sundar (3/15) & Avesh Khan (2/39) bowled well enough to stop Zimbabwe on 159-6 (20).
In 1st innings, Yashasvi Jaiswal (36) & skipper Shubman Gill (66) gave India a flying start with 67 runs opening partnership.
Even after fall of wickets, Ruturaj Gaikwad (49) kept attacking the Zimbabwean bowlers and helped India reach 182-4 (20).
Washington Sundar was adjourned the Man of The Match for his heroic spell.
Both will face each other for 4th T20I at same venue on July 13.
