New Delhi: ‘Cricket knows no boundaries’, the age-old saying was truly justified once again on Friday as cricket fans on Twitter were left amazed to see just how Virat Kohli is adored around the globe, is just unmatchable.
Kohli has a huge fan base all around the world, and Pakistan is one place that he hasn’t been able to travel on account of the political issues going on between the two countries. The last time Men in Blue played in Pakistan was back in 2008 during Asia Cup when Kohli was not part of the international setup. But his fan following there is also huge and it was evident during a PSL game recently.
Don’t believe us? With a poster of the former India skipper the Pakistani fan had wrote, “I want to see your century in Pakistan #Peace”, on the poster that was seen at the PSL 2022 match between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Friday.
The picture is now being shared widely on social media and the fan’s heartfelt message is winning the internet.

The 33-year-old has 70 international centuries, is currently going through a rough patch of form with no hundred in the last three years. Kohli’s last century came during India’s maiden pink-ball Test against Bangladesh in 2019.
Not just Pakistani fans, Indian fans would also love to watch Virat to reach the triple-figure mark as soon as possible and raise the bat in celebration.
