KOLKATA:- Kylian Mbappe was left out of the French national team. Didier Deschamps announced the UEFA Nations League team on Thursday. It does not include the name of the French captain. Mbappe returned to the field on Wednesday after recovering from a thigh injury. He entered the Champions League match as a substitute footballer. But he will not be seen in France’s jersey against Israel and Belgium.
Deshan made this decision to rest Mbappe. The coach of France said, ‘I have spoken with Killian. His injuries are not serious. But I don’t want to take any risk. That’s why I didn’t keep him in the team.’
France will play against Israel on October 10. The match was moved to Budapest due to security concerns in the Middle East. Match against Belgium on October 14. France has three points in two matches. Italy tops with six points. This will be France’s first international tournament since Griezmann announced his retirement.
