IND vs PAK, T20 World Cup 2021: Artists make rangoli to cheer up ‘Men in Blue’

Madhya pradesh: Cricket fever has yet again gripped fans as India is set to play against Pakistan at the T20 World Cup. After almost over two years, Virat Kohli and Co. will face-off against Babar Azam led Pakistan. It doesn’t get any bigger than this, Indian fans from all around are leaving no chance to cheer for India.

Shikha Sharma, an artist from Indore along with her staff has made 7,700 sq. toes rangoli to cheer up the Men in Blue for their opening campaign on Sunday against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup.

While chatting with ANI, Shikha Sharma, who led the staff of artists, mentioned, “We have made a rangoli of 7,700 square feet. We are a team of 20 people. This rangoli took 45 hours.”

“Prior to this, I have made four world records. We have used 3 quintals of colours while making this rangoli. We have made MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli. We are cheering for the team India,” she added.

Similarly, Priyanka Sahani, an artist from Bhubaneswar has made an art and craft on bat and ball to cheer up Virat Kohli & Co. Reckoning that she loves cricket, she has made mentor of Team India MS Dhoni, Captain Virat Kohli and Vice-captain Rohit Sharma’s painting on bat. Sahani, has also painted the trophy using chips and chocolate wraps and wrote some quotes to cheer up Indian team.

“We all love cricket. We all are crazy for cricket. So I have made mentor of Team India MS Dhoni, Captain Virat Kohli and Vice-captain Rohit Sharma’s painting on bat,” she said.

The India vs Pakistan match in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium today (October 24) starting 7:30 pm IST. Having won all the 5 previous encounters against Pakistan in T20 World Cups, India is expected to consolidate that lead and make it the sixth win in a row.
