LYON: Brazilian Midfielder Lucas Paqueta has joined French club Olympique Lyonnais from AC Milan. As per reports, the deal worth 20m euros for a five-year contract which would take Paqueta to the Groupama Stadium. The club unveiled the signing on social media.

The 23 year-old Brazilian moved to San Siro from Flamengo back in January, 2019 but only made 44 appearances in overall for the red side of Milan. He also won 11 caps for the Brazil national side winning the Copa America in 2019.
Asking about the transfer Jean-Michel Aulas, the president Lyon explained “He is joining us for five seasons. He already knows some of the players in our squad and we are convinced he will quickly settle in,”
Known for their ability to develop players, Lyon could be a valuable move for Lucas considering the his prowess. He will join the midfield alongside another Brazilian Bruno Guimares. They are stacked with raw talents and with inclusion of Paqueta they would surely try to challenge the top half of the table.
