Kolkata : Mohammed Shami takes a dig at Amit Mishra’s ‘fame and power’ remark on Virat Kohli.
Amit Mishra said last week that Virat Kohli changed with fame and power, doesn’t have many friends in Indian team due to his attitude.
He also said that it was Gautam Gambhir who came forward and ended the feud between him and Kohli.
Shami now takes a dig at these allegations of Mishra against Kohli. Though he didn’t directly say Mishra’s name but he indirectly hinted at almost all who take dig at Kohli now and then.
“Many former cricketers know that whenever they say something against Virat, their name will appear on the front page of the newspapers the next day, so they do it deliberately,” Shami said.
Shami also revealed that Virat and Ishant Sharma are his 2 best friends in Indian team. They kept asking about his well being during time of his injury.
“Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma are my best friends. They constantly kept calling me when I was injured”, the fast bowler added.
Shami is set to return to Indian team from Bangladesh tour.
