Budapest: The Euro 202O pre-quarterfinals delivered in every aspect of the game leaving the fans even more excited for the quarterfinals which start on Friday. While reigning world champions were ousted by Switzerland, the Dutch were handed a shock exit by the Czech Republic.

On Friday, the action shifts to Munich as a spirited Italian side under Roberto Mancini will face numero Uno Belgium in an exciting contest at the Allianz Arena. Belgium lived up to their expectations soaring through the group stages before displacing defending champions Portugal in the Round of 16.

On the other hand, Mancini’s Italy, rising from the ashes, maintained an all-win record making their way into the quarterfinals after beating Austria. Both Belgium and Italy are anticipated finalists and the fans will be elated to see such an exciting clash soon.

Talking about exciting clashes, Luis Enrique’s Spain, who advanced into the final eight, scoring a whopping 10 goals in their last two matches, will not have it easy against a spirited Switzerland. The World No.13 side disposed of second-ranked France to secure their first-ever Euro knockout win.

Even though England seem to come out on top against Ukraine, the pre-quarterfinals showed us how tables can turn anytime. Andriy Shevchenko’s Ukraine, who had reached the top-8 for the first time had already shown their zeal to bag it home.

Finally, Denmark will be facing the Czech Republic who has become fan favourites for their passion. It will be heartbreaking to watch any one of them go home, but it will be a cracker of a contest now that both the teams want the silverware more than ever.
