Kolkata : East Bengal signed Indian midfielder Jeakson Singh on 4-year deal.

Jeakson has been a key midfielder in Indian team for 3 years. He was a vital part of major Indian wins like SAFF (2021, 2023), Tri-Nation Series (2023) and Intercontinental Cup (2023).

Jeakson is the only Indian footballer to score a goal in FIFA World Cup. His goal came against Colombia in the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India.

Having represented Kerala Blasters in 78 Indian Super League matches, Jeakson has logged two goals, two assists, an 82% passing accuracy, 274 successful duels, 84 successful aerial duels, 405 recoveries, 102 intercep:ons and 62 clearances.
