The Blues would have a chance to restore parity when Chhetri was impeded in the area, but the skipper’s take from the spot would come crashing back into play off the crossbar as Bagan took their lead down the tunnel.

Mohun Bagan began the 2nd half stronger, and would go on to score three times in the space of ten minutes, first through Manvir who would finish at Gurpreet’s near post (51’) after being set up by Joni Kauko’s back heel.

Anirudh Thapa’s goal (54’) would come soon after, with Dimi Petratos’ at the end of Gurpreet’s save from a Joni Kauko effort to square for Thapa to score the 3rd goal.

Bengaluru found themselves 4 goals down just shy of the hour mark when Armando Sadiku struck (59′), with Manvir finding him in a pocket of space to tap home past a hapless Gurpreet Singh Sandhu.
