Goa: Mumbai City FC lock horns with Odisha FC in the Indian Super League(ISL) at the GMC Stadium in Goa on Sunday (December 6). Out of the total 12 matches being played between them, Mumbai City have the upper hand with five wins while Odisha FC won four with the rest being draws.
Mumbai City are looking confident after their 3-0 win against SC East Bengal where they put on a dominating performance with the side looking for their third win on the trot. Ahmed Jahouh made a stunning comeback in the last match returning from his suspension with the side finally playing in such a way that was expected from them especially considering their coach is a certain Sergio Lobera with constant dominance of possession and being good on the counter.
Adam le Fondre and Hugo Boumous have been excellent in the last two matches and will hope to continue the same. On the other hand, Odisha FC are struggling to find their rythm in the ISL after not being able to get a win in three matches so far in the league. They were beaten by a last-minute winner scored by Roy Krishna in their loss against ATK Mohun Bagan with head coach Stuart Baxter hoping that his side would recover.
They the likes of Marcelinho, Manuel Onwu and Diego Mauricio going forward with the latter scoring two goals and will be a key player along with midfielder Cole Alexander who will have the responsibility to control the tempo of the game.
