Barcelona responded quickly in the second half. Eric García pulled one back in the 54th minute, and Dani Olmo brought the visitors level with the equaliser in the 60th minute. The momentum stayed with Barcelona as Raphinha netted their third goal in the 87th minute, putting them ahead 3-2 on the night.

However, Inter refused to give up. In the 93rd minute, they scored a dramatic equaliser to push the match into extra time. The winning goal came from Davide Frattesi, who completed the comeback in the added period. Yann Sommer stood firm in goal, denying any late chances from Barcelona and earning the Man of the Match award for his performance.

After the match, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick expressed his dissatisfaction with some of the referee’s decisions but wished Inter good luck and praised their performance. Meanwhile, Inter boss Simone Inzaghi commended Frenkie de Jong and Lamine Yamal for their efforts in what was one of the most intense and dramatic semi-final clashes, with Inter Milan ultimately booking their spot in the final.
