Imphal: Indian football men’s team bag the opening of Hero Tri-Nation Competition with a scoreline of 1-0 against Mayanmar.

India kept playing a pressing football throughout, however Mayanmar managed to have few on-shot targets as well. Indian goalie Amrinder Singh made some back-to-back saves to maintain the clean sheet at the end of the match.

Mehtab Singh, Naorem Mahesh Singh, and Ritwick Das made their debut for India in this match.
