Imphal: Sandesh Jhingan and Sunil Chhetri scored against Kyrgyz Republic to earn the Tri-Nation Friendly trophy with a 2-0 win. India had won their first game of the tournament against Myanmar with a scoreline of 1-0.
India started with sheer dominance, with attacks coming from Mahesh, Sandesh and Chhangte. In the 34th minute of the game, Sandesh Jhingan gave India the lead. A free-kick from Brandon found Sandesh who made no mistake to hit the right bottom corner.

Kyrgyzstan attempted to rebound and mount a few impressive attempts, but they were never a threat to India as they firmly maintained their defensive approach.
