Kanpur : After 2 days of washed out, a jam packed action day followed with India scoring fastest 150 runs in an innings in Test Cricket, outclassing Mominul Haque’s ton.

Bangladesh started the Day from 107-3. Despite Mominul Haque (107*) holding from one end, they kept losing wickets to the Indian bowlers.

Mushfiqur Rahim, Liton Das, Shakib Al Hasan all fell to Bumrah, Siraj and Ashwin cheaply. Despite Mehdy Hasan Miraz trying to build a good partnership with Mominul, it went in vain.

Mominul fighting a lone Battle managed to take Bangladesh to 233 runs, where from other end, their tail got exposed to Indian Bowlers.

Coming to Bat, Indians took a fiery approach with Yashasvi Jaiswal (72) , Rohit Sharma (23) dealing with sixes and fours.

Virat Kohli (47), Shubman Gill (39) too took the same approach. KL Rahul (68) played a vital knock to quickly take the lead and India scoring 150 within 18 overs, fastest by any team in an innings in Test Cricket.

However, owing to Shakib and Mehdy’s 4-fers , India declared to 289 runs, taking a 52 runs lead.

When Bangladesh came to Bat in last hours of the day, Ashwin struck double blow picking Zakir Hasan and night watchman Hasan Mahmud.

At the end of the Day, Bangladesh are now 26-2 , and all eyes will be on the final day.
