Dubai : India defeated West Indies by 20 runs in 4th Warm Up of ICC Women’s T20 WC 2024 at ICC Academy Ground No 2 , Dubai. Jemimah Rodrigues’ played a vital knock of 52 (40) in India’s triumph.
India Batting 1st , lost 3 wickets for just 23 runs. Hayley Matthews’ 4/16 pushed India to backfoot.
However, Jemimah Rodrigues (52) , helped India reach a fighting total of 141.
Defending 142 runs, Pooja Vastrakar (3/20) & Deepti Sharma (2/11) stopped West Indies to just 121 runs, despite Chinelle Henry’s (59*) lone efforts.
Both India and West Indies will play their 2nd Warm up match against Australia and South Africa respectively.
