ICC T20 WC 2024 : New Zealand hammer Uganda to secure their 1st victory of the tournament

Trinidad : New Zealand defeated Uganda by 9 wickets at Brian Lara Stadium, Trinidad, to secure 1st win of the tournament, despite being disqualified yesterday.

Bowling 1st, Tim Southee (3/4), Trent Boult (2/7), Mitchell Santner (2/8), Rachin Ravindra (2/9) demolished Uganda at 40 runs.

New Zealand with help of Devon Conway (22*) chased down the total in just 5.2 overs.

Tim Southee was adjourned the Man of the Match award for his wonderful spell.
