Afghanistan Batting 1st, struggled with Bat unlike other Matches. Despite Rahmanullah Gurbaz (43) scoring, other Batters fell prey to Rishad Hossain (3/26).
Afghanistan middle order didn’t score much runs, however, a small Rashid Khan’s (19*) cameo helped them end on 115-5 (20).
Bangladesh chasing 115 runs (Later reduced to 114 runs in 19 overs by DLS Method) in a rain affected Innings needed to reach the target within 12.1 overs to qualify into semi final.
Despite losing 3 early wickets, Liton Das (54*) fought from 1 end.
However, Naveen Ul Haq & Rashid Khan’s 4-fers made Bangladesh collapse at 105 runs, enabling Afghanistan secure historic win & race into semi final.

Afghanistan will now face South Africa in Semi Final 1 & India will take on England in Semi Final 2 on June 27.
