ICC announces revised schedule for Women’s T20 World Cup 2024

Kolkata : ICC has announced revised schedule for Women’s T20 World Cup 2024.

Recently, on 20 August, the venue shifted from Bangladesh to UAE due to ongoing political turmoil in Bangladesh.

The tournament will be played from October 3,with Bangladesh facing Scotland in 1st match to October 20 in Dubai and Sharjah.

The 23-match event will feature the top 10 women’s teams in the world, who will be divided into 2 groups of 5 each.

GROUPS

Group A : Australia, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka

Group B : Bangladesh, England, South Africa, West Indies, Scotland

Top 2 from each group will advance to the semi final. Ahead of the tournament, the teams will play 10 warm up matches in Dubai.
