Dubai: Things are not going in the right direction for last season’s runners-up Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the moment. First, they have lost two of their vital players in Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh, who pulled out of the tournament due to personal reasons, senior pros Ambati Rayudu and Dwayne Bravo has also been plagued by injuries.

They have also lost two out of the three matches they have played so far in the tournament. CSK CEO Kasi Vishwanathan recently gave an update on the situation regarding their star performers Rayudu and Bravo.

“Rayudu has recovered well from a hamstring strain and will play in the next game. He ran and sprinted during training and batted without any discomfort at the nets,” Viswanathan told Sportstar.

When asked about Bravo he said, “He bowled well at the nets, He further said that CSK are working hard to make a strong comeback in the campaign after losing the last two matches. We have bounced back from adversity in the past. We will do so again.”

CSK have missed the services of Rayudu who played a match-winning knock in the opening match of IPL this year but due to his injury, he missed the next two matches. Bravo too has been sitting out because of his injury. Chennai Super Kings will face Sunrisers Hyderabad in their next match on Friday.
