Kolkata : According to reports, former Indian legendary All-rounder Yuvraj Singh is set to replace Ashish Nehra as Gujarat Titans head coach. Team director Vikram Solanki is also set to part ways. Though official statement awaits.
According to other reports, Nehra is said to join the 3-times IPL champion Kolkata Knight Riders, replacing Gautam Gambhir who’s now Indian team head coach.
Nehra has been instrumental in guiding Gujarat Titans to 2022 IPL champion and 2023 runners up.
However, a sluggish 2024 season saw Gujarat finishing at no 8 on points table & lot’s of questions were raised on Nehra.
It’s now said that Yuvraj might replace him as head coach. He along with team director Vikram Solanki might part ways.
“Lot of changes on the cards. Ashish Nehra and Vikram Solanki are highly likely to move on and discussions around Yuvraj Singh have already begun. Nothing is finalised right now but there could be some major changes in the coaching staff of the Gujarat Titans,” says a source.
