The 2019-20 Premier League season has just finished with Liverpool crowned champions for the first time but clubs have already started to gear up for the new season as they revealed their new kits. Almost all the EPL biggies have dropped their newest collections with a fresh look. While some teams have kept it simple the others made something unique and different. Let’s take a look at what the players going to don in the new season for their respective clubs.
Arsenal
(Home Kit)
Arsenal’s home kit for the 2020-21 season pays special honour to the Gunners’ geometric design which was used by the club between 1936 and 1949 during their Highbury days. The home kit, which is manufactured by Adidas and launched on July 23, shows the iconic red shirt with white sleeves. But the body features chevrons with east and west zig-zag design, which shows ‘A’ on the pattern like their 1930s kit.

(Away Kit)
No details about Arsenal’s away kit has been announced officially, but the design is rumoured to be leaked which shows an off-white shirt with red streaks on it. The pattern resembles a marble surface and as shown is manufactured by Adidas.

Chelsea
(Home Kit)
Chelsea have revealed two of their 2020-21 fresh style kit for the upcoming season which included their traditional color blue and Arctic blue on their away shirt. The Blue’s home shirt is manufactured by Nike like the previous jerseys with a zig-zag pattern and a large outlined three sign. It was announced on July 1. The classic blue is popping, thanks to a dark blue trim on the crew-neck collar and sleeves, with the dash of red that adorned recent kits dropped entirely. Chelsea’s contract with Yokohama Tyres has expired so you will see ‘3’ featuring in the front.

Chelsea have also released their new away kit with the Arctic blue design said to have ‘millennial swagger’ which mirrors that of an exciting young squad in west London. The powder-blue jersey with navy blue dashes. The Blues, in partnership with kit manufacturers Nike, have sought to come up with a design that they believe reflects what the club and its vision for the future.

Liverpool

Premier League Champions Liverpool revealed their 2020-21 home kit, which is their first partnership with Nike. While describing the Red’s kit and the colour choices, a Nike press release read, “The kit acknowledges the past, whilst setting the tone for future collections. Liverpool’s new home kit is comprised of the traditional red jersey, red shorts and red socks. The use of a brighter red exudes youth and vibrancy, complementing the traditional white and the introduction of teal to the home jersey.”

Manchester City have unveiled their new 2020-21 home jersey, the pattern of the shirt is a tribute to the city’s melting pot of art, industry, music, fashion, noise and colour.
The jersey, which is sponsored by Puma, features the mosaic pattern in classic City blue and white, with navy trim, while it’s accompanied by white shorts and light blue socks.

Manchester United have kept their traditional red colour for their 2020-21 home kit, but have gone for a unique textured pattern print on the jersey. The jersey is sponsored by Adidas. The latest design of Red Devil’s home jersey reflects ‘Man Utd DNA’. The red strip has flecks of yellow and black throughout. The jersey has Adidas’ iconic white stripes along the shoulders. The kit is finished with a pair of white shorts and black shocks.

The away kit is also sponsored by Nike and features an unusual color for Spurs green with flashes of neon pink and yellow besides white sponsor logo. They are paired with black shorts. Both the kits are constructed with recycled polyester fabric from old plastic bottles that they say represent ‘a modern streetwear style, using exciting new colours and bold graphics’.
